RELIABLE HOME CARE ASSISTANCE

Sisters Who Care offers great reliable care to individuals with disabilities in Ohio. Sisters Who Care provides at-home care services for children and adults that require extra care. From independent living assistance to comprehensive, 24-hour care, SWC offers an at-home care solutions plan for all types of families who need assistance.

Services we offer:

Supported Living

Homemaker/Personal Care, often called HPC, supports a person to be more independent while meeting their daily living needs. Direct support providers help people with household chores and personal care including things like.

Transportation

Transportation services may be available based on an understanding of a person's needs discovered during an assessment, then listed in their individual service plan.

Level One Waiver

The Level One Waiver is a good fit for people who do not need many paid support staff to provide services.

The Level One Waiver relies heavily on natural supports. Natural supports are services people provide without being paid for it. Natural supports could be things like:

Individual Option Waiver

The Individual Options is often called the IO Waiver for short. The IO Waiver is a more comprehensive waiver. It can be a good fit for people who may need a lot of help in their home, or for people who need many different kinds of services.

Remote Supports

Remote Support allows an off-site direct service provider to monitor and respond to a person's health, safety, and other needs using live communication, while offering the person more independence in their home.

Remote Support uses two-way communication in real time, just like Skype or FaceTime, so a person can communicate with their providers when they need them. A person can choose supports like sensors that call for help if someone has fallen or cameras that help monitor who is visiting a person's home.

This service is always combined with Assistive Technology.
